Section 1: Getting Started
On Your Own Coast-to-Coast includes four options for you or your students to determine their income level and in which of the 12 communities they will live during simulation. Select from Job Search, Random, Income Game or User Choice.

Section 2: Moving In
Once students have determined their income, it's time to get settled in the community in which they'll be living. They'll need to create a budget, open bank accounts, choose transportation, rent an apartment and start utilities.

Section 3: Day-to-Day Living
Students will now face the real-life challenges of living day-to-day for a simulated three-month period. They'll pay bills, make everyday spending decisions, deal with life's little hassles and handle emergencies big and small.
